Mar-13-08  Riverbeast: An unkibitzed Fischer game! More of his relentless logic
Feb-09-09  Eyal: <More of his relentless logic> Yeah, a very nice positional squeeze executed by Fischer after the exchanges on moves 10-13. No flashy moves, but a lot of accurate and efficient ones. For example: 25.b3 - preventing Nc4, which was prepared by 24...Kg7; 26.h3 - preventing Ng4, which was prepared by 25...h5; 27.c4 - advancing the c pawn and taking it out of the line of fire of black's bishop and rook after the Nc6 (prepared by 26...Rcc8)/Bb6 sequence.

32...Rg8 which "saves" the rook is a rather funny move, both because it puts the rook on such a terrible square and because in that stage of the game the white bishops are more effective than the black rooks, so that a trade like Bxc8/Rxb6 would actually be in Black's favor.

Apr-19-21  SpiritedReposte: After <31. Bxb7!> it was all over.
