Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-05-06  Autoreparaturwerkbau: White reaaly doesn't know where to put his queen... :)
Jul-21-08  Marmot PFL: Possibly 10.Qh4 was best.

33.e4 definitely loses, but it is hard to meet 33...Rd2 with the threat Rd1+ Rxd1 Qxd1+ Qf1 Qxf1+ Kxf1 d5.

Jan-26-15  zydeco: <marmotPFL> Maybe 33.h3 is better.

Nice motif with 26....Rb7, using a rook to temporarily block the white queen's access to the a8-h1 diagonal.

Aug-21-20  King.Arthur.Brazil: I guess that White prepared 27. ♖b3 when ♖xb3 28. axb3 and everything is OK. But Black has the answer ♕g4+ 28. ♔h1 ♕h3 29. ♔g1 (or ♖bb1) ♖h5 and wins.

I guess that 33. e4 is a try to set up a trap and make a counter-attack. After 33...♖e2, White could play 34.♖h3, when the answers like 34...♖xf2 35. ♖xh5 ♖xg2+ 36. ♔xg2 gxh5 or even 35.♕xf2 ♕xh3 win, but I don1't have a reply to 35.♔xf2. However, Black has the better reply: 34...♖xc4! when 35. ♖xh5 ♖xc1+ 36. ♕f1 ♖xf1+ 37. ♔xf1 ♖xe4 with 2 ♙ up. White cannot play 35. ♖xc4 ♖e1+ 36. ♕f1 ♖xf1+ 37. ♔xf1 ♕xh3+ obviously. After 35.♖f1 ♕c5 Black has a ♙ up and better position. That's why, White plan with e4 failed.

Following the game, after 35. ♖h3 ♕xe4 36. fxg6 hxg6 37. ♕xe4 ♖xe4 38. ♖hc3 the White position still is bad.

kingscrusher: White misses 21. Nb6 forking Queen and rook which seems about equal.
Feb-03-23  jerseybob: <kingscrusher: White misses 21. Nb6 forking Queen and rook which seems about equal.> Considering how Fischer took chances with tail-enders, he might've been planning something like 21..Nxf3+ 22.gxf,Qb7 23.Nxc8,Qxf3
