  Retireborn: In the tournament book Becker calls 22...d3 "Der Knock-out-Schlag!" and I expect Sir George was indeed feeling pretty Schlagged off by then.

Jan-02-24  YoungEd: I think 16. ♕b3 was a mistake; developing the ♗ and castling looks better. I guess White wanted to pressure the d-pawn, but it's easy to defend.
