Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-06-10  Glenn E: worst game I've ever seen. the queen is hanging for half the game for no good reason.
Aug-06-10  goodevans: White leaves his queen en prise for about a dozen moves? I don't think so!

My guess would be that he played <19 Qe3>. The rest of the game seems to make sense after that.

Aug-06-10  goodevans: In the final position (assuming it to be correct) I think <32 Ra7> was worth a shot. e.g. 32 Ra7 Rxc1 33 Rxc1 Qb8 34 Nc6.
Aug-06-10  ounos: As I was slowly watching the game moves (and having rather liked white's play thus fur), at the point of 18. ...Qc7 I thought that a queen move was required, and settled for Qe3. I was surprized to see 19. Qc3, which should have been rejected for the same reason as 19. Qd4, i.e., Bf6, so probably Qe3 was indeed played here.
Aug-06-10  ounos: 32. Ra7 Rxd4 wraps things up.
Aug-06-10  whiteshark: <goodevans: <My guess would be that he played <19 Qe3>. The rest of the game seems to make sense after that.>> It's the only rational explanation.

Aug-07-10  ounos: I really don't recall any site where correcting a typo causes so much fuss! Not even wikipedia or something. We are all a little weird, if you ask me.

That we knew.

But this site is not like Wikipedia, since only a very limited number of people can make corrections. And because they spend most of their time and energies on features the majority of users want to see (and rightfully so, in my opinion), typo corrections are often painfully slow. One done this quickly is a reason for celebration and thanksgiving amongst us nitpickers.
