  Sneaky: Classic Tal!
Aug-23-03  seoulmama: Very true.
Apr-05-07  Crowaholic: An uneven but very enjoyable game. Black's disorganized defense is no match for Tal's masterfully coordinated attack. The role of the white bishops is especially interesting since, although Black has castled kingside, they attack the queenside. But as Tal destroys the badly defended kingside, the black King is forced to escape to the queenside and now the bishops happen to be exactly where Tal needs them. White wastes no move, e.g. 18. e5 prepares 19. Qxh7 which in turn prepares 20. Qg6+.

And finally, Tal delivers an elegant mate exploiting the bishop pin, one move shorter than the more obvious 23. Qxe7+ Kc8 24. Qe8+ Qd8 25. Qxd8#

Apr-06-07  siu02jm: <crowaholic>
the mating line is 23. Qg8 Nf8 24. Qxf8#
Aug-23-10  rapidcitychess: That's one of those games that you think "That's a Tal game" before seeing the player. Nice game.
