Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-20-12  drukenknight: this is an another Tal/French defense game. Tal sacks the exchange, but could Benko have saved this with 31...Qh6?
Dec-01-14  ToTheDeath: Great attack!
Dec-01-14  RookFile: 10.... h6. Let's wave the red flag in front the bull and see what happens.
Jan-02-20  Ratt Boy: This came two rounds after Tal lost terribly vs. Petrosian. Good to see him getting his mojo back, though he was ill throughout the tourney. Tal vs Petrosian, 1962
Feb-05-20  King.Arthur.Brazil: I guess that this game proves that was not the health which makes Tal play bad. There was no miracle here, then it was not the health that make him lose to Petrosian before. End of story.
Feb-06-20  Petrosianic: <King.Arthur.Brazil>: Wait a minute, run that by me again? I missed the argument that shows Tal had no health problems at Curacao even though he was hospitalized over them, and withdrew. You say this game somehow proves that? How?

perfidious: On even a fairly superficial review of Tal's games at Curacao, there is far more evidence that he was very clearly off form than on his being on top of his game.
Apr-09-20  carpovius: Poor Benko
