  fredthebear: Put a bag over the head of those last two moves by Black. Why not resign if reduced to playing awful moves like those? Maybe Black meant 30...Bd4 and touched the White knight accidentally? That's still a stretch.
Nov-22-16  RookFile: Maybe he had a hallucination about the final position and thought 31...Be4 leads to mate. It doesn't, but he must have thought it did.

  fredthebear: <RookFile> That's a practical explanation. It accounts for 29...Bf5 giving up the rook for no compensation and leaving the knight hanging, and 30...BxNf3 to remove the defender of the e4-square so his remaining bishop can safely occupy it with check.

I will ease up on Mr. Poutrus thanks to your explanation. It's a plausible blunder, not just aimless garbage. It happens.

Thank you, RookFile. The irony of Black's attack on the h-file with the opposing king in the corner pocket is not lost on me. May you find success examining future attacks along the g- and f-files as well!
