Feb-26-15  Nosnibor: Here is a game I played 50 years ago against Poutrus. British Counties Championships,1/4 final. Middlesex v. Leicestershire. French Defence,Winawer. !Qg7.21a6!Kc7.22axb7,Bxb7.23Rxb7+! Black resigns 1-0 At the time of this game I was 21 and Poutrus 24 who earlier that year had beaten Kapengut (USSR) in the Students Team Tournament. Maybe the position at move 23 for black would make an easy guess the next move.

GrahamClayton: Poutros was an Iranian studying at the University of London, which made him eligible to represent the England at the Student Team Olympiads. He also represented Middlesex in the County Championship and other matches.

Sally Simpson: The game tidied up (16...Qg8 replacing 16...Qb8) posted above by Nosnibor, maybe he can fill in all the details and sub it. Interesting game. (21.Bxd5 is a shot. Though the 21.a6 idea is more pleasing.)
