Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-29-09  returnoftheking: Someone will use this for the pun contest, it's a matter of time.
Jan-29-24  tonythekingfisher: White before his move 53 "Right, I'll do you for that!"
Jan-29-24  thegoodanarchist: <returnoftheking: Someone will use this for the pun contest, it's a matter of time.>

They should.

Meanwhile, it was Black's Black Knight that Blackened Black Knight (Computer)

Jan-29-24  thegoodanarchist: <thegoodanarchist:

They should. >

And I should note, took less than 15 years!

Well-done, <Miss Scarlett>!

(Oh Rhett, you scoundrel!)

Has the war started already?

An Englishman: Good Afternoon: After move 52--"What are you going to do, bleed on me?!" At the very end, Kaissa should have said, "All right. We'll call it a draw."
Jan-29-24  areknames: Python-based puns are the best.

  WannaBe: print('Tis but a scratch!')
Jan-29-24  Autoreparaturwerkbau: Computers in 1977 were very basic comparing to what they are (almost) 50 years later.

Computer nowadays wouldn't even consider doubtful moves like 32.♕c8? (32.♗d7 is correct) among other questionable ones.

Teyss: Hilarious pun, despite the fact it's Missy's.

Black Knight vs Kaissa, 1977 technique is even worse than John Cleese's fighting skills and Black Knight (Computer) only slightly better than Graham Chapman's. Explanation: "Kaissa (...) could evaluate ~200 whole positions each second." Yup, no typo, only 200.

27...Qxg4: 'Tis but a scratch.
43...Qxc5+: Just a flesh wound.
51...Nxe6: I’ll do you for that.
52...e1=Q: All right, we’ll call it a draw.
57...Qbb8#: Running away eh? You yellow bastard, come back here and take what’s coming to you. I’ll bite your legs off!
