FSR: The counterintuitive 7.Bf1! is critical.

Korora: I saw 9...♕xg5, but not the follow-up.
May-30-25  stacase: Oh Crap! I got it move for move all the way to [ Black to move. Last: 14.Rf1 ] and accidentally clicked on [ > ] so I don't know if I would have seen 14...Bh3 or not. So I got the first 5 moves and an Oh Crap!
May-30-25  Walter Glattke: Trap: 9.-Rb8? 10.Nxf7 Kxf7? 11.Qe6# 9.-Qxg5 10.Qxa8 Nb6 11.Qxa7 Qxg2 12.Rf1 Qe4+ 13. Kd1 Bg4+ 14.f3 Bxf3+ 15.Rxf3 Qxf3+ 16.Ke1 exd4 17.Qxc7 Qh1+ 18.Ke2 d3+ 19.Kf2 (Ke3? May-30-25  mel gibson: I saw the first ply easily.

score for Black +3.93 depth 47.

May-30-25  cocker: 17 Q x g2 would have kept the deficit to approx 1 point.
May-30-25  Saniyat24: Hard names...great game...!
May-30-25  TheaN: Kind of recognized this coming from the Two Knights but not exactly which counterattack. <9....Qxg5 10.Qxa8 Nb6 11.Qc6+ Bd7 12.Qxc7 Qxg2 -+> was fairly obvious but got a bit murky there, missed Qxe5 for some weird reason.

After 13.Qxe5+ the best move is 13....Kd8!, essentially speeding up king side development. Natural to want to castle, but speed is key now. In the same fashion, 15....Kd7! or even 15....O-O!? are faster. 15....Nxd5 is okay if 16.f4 Qg6 -+, 16....O-O?! kind of allows White to play on exchanging queens. 17.Nc3 Bh4+ 0-1 is over.

In principle, this exchange sac heavily favors Black: White didn't develop with 4.Ng5 and pays the price. <FSR> says it right, White needs to know this line and play 7.Bf1!, which anti-develops but Black overextended already with Nd4 and b5: 7....Nxd5 8.cxd4 Qxg5 9.Bxb5+ ⩲ is Black's best line but White's quite a bit better.

May-30-25  King.Arthur.Brazil: The king's proposal is: 9...Qxg5 10. Qxa8 Nb6 11. Qc6+ Bd7 12. Qxc7 Qxg2 13. Rf1 exd4 14. Qb8+ Ke7 15. d3 cxd3 16. Bf4 Nxd5 17. Bg3 Qe4+ 18. Kd1 Qe2+ 19. Kc1 Qc2# or 12... Qxg2 13. Rf1 exd4 14. Qb8+ Ke7 15. d3 cxd3 16. Nd2 Bh3 17. Qxa7+ Nd7 18. d6+ Ke6 19. Qxd4 Ne5 20. d7 Be7 21. Qe3 Bg5... etc.
May-30-25  Thegamelover: I surprised myself and saw all moves!
