  tpstar: The Fork Trick is a useful tactic for Black to equalize and shows up in the Four Knights, Petrov Defense and Two Knights Defense. Here 8. Qa4!? was shaky because after 8 ... f6 the Queen had no future, plus 9 ... a6! set the unique trap 10. Nc3 Bb4 and White has no defense to 11 ... b5 winning the wayward Queen. Not the awful 9. c3 Qd3 10. Ng3 0-0-0, but relatively best was 9. d3 a6! 10. Ned2 Qd7 11. 0-0 0-0-0 and Black is for choice due to the Two Bishops plus a clear advantage in Space.

Wayne-tpstar0 (InstantChess 5/8/04): 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Bc4?! Nxe4! 5. Nxe4 d5 6. Qe2 dxc4 7. Qxc4 Be6 8. Qb5 Qd5 9. Qxb7?? Qxe4+ 10. Kf1 Rb8 11. Qxc7 Qxc2 12. Nxe5? Qd1++ (0-1).

Sep-02-06  theskandinavian: Today I played a game, which was similar to yours until the 8th move:

Radica-Lenz(Regional Youth Masters U18 2/9/06): 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Nc3 Nxe4 5. Nxe4 d5 6. Qe2 dxc4 7. Qxc4 Be6 8. Qb5 Qd5 9. Qxd5 Bxd5 10. d3?! f5 and I had a position, which was quiet good.

Jul-12-20  sea7kenp: Looks like a Trapped Queen to me.
Jul-12-20  jith1207: Not a trapped Queen in this line:

11.O-O O-O 12. a3 b5 13. Nxb5

But, a knight lost and the Stockfish rather prefers losing the Queen, lol..
