Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-12-05  chessfreako: Why can't black play
12. ... Nxc3?
The material will remain equal.
The most black loses is the g-pawn.The king is still protected by the bishop on g7.So it's not really such a big loss.
Jun-12-05  chessfreako: Anyway the knight is immune on c3 as 13. bxc3 Bxc3
Forking the king and rook.
Jun-15-06  Seraphina: It seems to me that is why white resigned at this point...
Sep-23-20  schnarre: White stands to lose a considerable amount of material, as well as having an exposed King position.
