Dec-03-04  Knight13: Schutlen didn't see the rook fork on move 24!? Well... It's kind of tricky. Good game!

Honza Cervenka: <Schutlen didn't see the rook fork on move 24!?> He definitely saw it but he had no better choice in move 23. Main threat of white then was 24.Nf6+ Ke7 (24...Kf8 25.Rd7 with mate.) 25.Ng6+ Kxe6 26.Nh5 with mate in next move (27.Ng7# or 27.Rf6# depending on black's 26th move). Black had very difficult game long before this point and I think that already 15...Nc6 could have been a decisive mistake. 15...0-0 looks risky at first glance but it could have been better than text move and also 15...Nf7 seems to be playable despite the fact that white has better play there too. 19...Bxe3+ was definitely no good but somewhat better moves like 19...0-0-0 or 19...Qc4 20.Qa3 are not much satisfactory.
