Kibitzer's Corner
May-06-04  capanegra: Very nice ending. Dubois hoped for 54…a1=Q?? 55.Nxa1 Kxa1 56.Kc2 Bg7 57.h6! and draws, but the move 54…Bg7! left him in complete zugzwang.

Now, Reuben Fine continues the line with 57.g7 Bxg7 58.Kc1 c2!! ("the coup the grace", as Fine calls it) 59.Kxc2 Bh6 and wins. However, I don't see any coup the grace with 58…c2. Black could have easily won also with 58…Bh6+ 59.Kc2 Bg5, or 58…Bf8. Am I missing something?
