Apr-01-04  biencastrojr: Who the hell invented this "Less than 6-move and you can offer draw and accepted rule"!!...give me a break!!!! i should have watched WNBA rather than spending my time on this...:-))
Apr-01-04  Bobsterman3000: <biencastrojr> LOL. I am wondering why they didn't draw after 1e4. I'll have to remember to steer clear of games by anyone whose surname ends in "sson" especially since Magnus Carlson's name isn't spelled that way...
Apr-01-04  nikolaas: This kind of people who play this kind of games destroy chess. Who the hell is interested in such things??? Everything is better than this. Even I am.
May-25-04  IngvarJohannesson: I am sorry guys. I try not to make to many short draws like this but sometimes the circumstances don't allow for anything else. In this instance we are both tired after a long tournament and the last round started at 13:00 and we are both working men. We are also good friends so unfortunately this was the conclusion.
May-25-04  Lawrence: OK <Ingvar> you're forgiven. Nice to have you on the site. A warm welcome. (btw, you must have some nice long evenings up there now.)
May-25-04  Calli: <Lawrence> Heck, Bergsson was already snorri before the game started.

*rim shot*

May-25-04  Lawrence: <Calli>, some relation to Snorri Sturluson?
May-25-04  Lawrence: <Ingvar>, do Icelanders put their children to sleep by telling them the story of Snorri Sturluson?
Jul-15-04  Calchexas: <Magnus Carlson's name isn't spelled that way...>

And it's not spelled that way either. :)

Nov-08-06  2021: <IngvarJohannesson> If you wanted a draw in the french, why not just play 1.e4 e6 2.Bb5 Qg5 3.Bf1 Qd8 4.Bb5 Qg5 5.Bf1 Qd8 6.Bb5 Qg5 1/2-1/2
Apr-25-21  Messiah: <IngvarJohannesson> There is no reason to be ashamed. This game already supplied me with weeks of analysis to be done.
