sachistu: Although it really does not alter the game result, Black's 46th was 46...Ba4 (not ...Ba6) with the rest of the moves as given here. See BCM, 1927, p328 where a diagram is given after Black's 45th. The same position was given in BCM, 1970, p363, with the moves (as given by W. R. Morry) appearing in BCM, 1971, p38.

I'll submit a correction slip.

fredthebear: How does one go about viewing <BCM, 1927, p328>?
Sep-25-21  Z truth 000000001: Well, <FtB>, there's a few different answers to that.

Google books, with their scans of American University library books in PD (Public Domain), is a good starting point.

You could also try here:

https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Reco...

Again, an American university library resource.

The only trouble is that 1927 is still out of reach of PD, and that might limit your access.

I blame Sonny Bono...

(... and other conservatives of his ilk, who distorted the intentions of CR law as framed in the original constitution of the good old US of A.)

fredthebear: This Sonny Bono? https://www.bing.com/images/search?... Well, there probably aren't too many other Sonny Bonos. I'd never have figured him as a conservative.

Our family used to watch the televised "Sonny and Cher Show" back in the 1970's. Didn't realize Cher was his second wife. Here's a clip: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...

"Ladies and Gentleman" isn't even politically correct anymore. Gasp -- one can just imagine today's hysterical mass media frenzy that would follow shoving one's spouse off the stage on camera. There'd be protests up and down the street, Al Sharpton rolls into town to exacerbate the flames of hate, Congressional hearings in the House, the governor demands change/cancellation, the police just stand there getting cursed and spit on, The View brings in psychoanalysts for their take, schools would alter their curriculum, Nancy Pelosi demands another $3 trillion dollars of spending to combat spousal abuse & Hollywood counseling, etc. etc. But Sonny had the attitude of "the show must go on" and never missed a beat. Maybe it was the pre-cursor to Jerry Springer's show?

Thanks for the research info <Z truth 000000001>.

Wikipedia discusses his life and politics, which I did not follow: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonny...

<Z truth 000000001> reference to copyright law is a bit more clear now.
