  Honza Cervenka: 24.Nxe6 with solid chances for draw was better. 12...0-0 or 13...Qh5 were worth of attention.

  fredthebear: The White knight would not have gotten much out of pawn grabbing on the queenside.

White could have tried 22.Na4 Be7 23.Nb6 Rd8 24.Rxa7 robbing and winning the pinned a-pawn.

25.Nxd5? would be met by the fork 25...Bf3+, and the knight is lost next.

26.Nxa7 is simply met by 26...Rxc2 and Black has increased pressure.

Black's bishop pair was empowered as the board opens up.
