Nov-14-05  Poisonpawns: Here is a little known Topalov game.Starts out as an English but Transposes to a Leningrad Dutch, which Topalov used to play in the 90`s.Topalov takes over the iniative after 11.c5!? and just demolishes white and totally refutes his attack on c7 that he was trying to orchestrate.White could have resigned at move 25 but played on because of Topalov`s time pressure.20...f3! 21.Bf1 fxe2 22.Bxe2 Bg4 23.Be3 Qe4 leaves white totally hopeless.

tamar: The way Topalov aligns his Queen and Rooks on the e, f and g files is reminiscent of the great attackers of the 19th century.

11 c5 is bad because the White Queen gets bumped twice, first with 12...d5, and then after 13 Qb4 with 13...a5, gaining the route Ra6-g6 for free.
