WannaBe: <California812> Congrats, you are first. Now we know what you do on Friday nights. 8-)

Rc4 was the mistake? Or was it Kh1?

May-28-05  Hinchliffe: <PaulLovric> as a school teacher I would have expected you to be able to spell.Clearly a forlorn hope.
May-28-05  kevin86: Black queens the pawn and winds up a piece ahead.

BTW if black worked in the IRS-would you send a return to sender? lol

I am FIFTH-but please don't ignore me!

May-28-05  Saph: I like 20.Rxf2. It looks like White was already worrying about hanging pieces when Black pulled that one.

<WannaBe> 25.Rc4 does look a bit sus. I thought of 25.Ne7+ but that loses a piece with 25...Bxe7 26.exf5 Bxf5.

Any better ideas... ?

May-28-05  aw1988: Ninth!
May-28-05  Heavy Metal Thunder: WannaBe pwned California812.
May-28-05  aw1988: "pwned"?
May-28-05  Heavy Metal Thunder: That's "1337" speech. Total cheese of course.
May-28-05  yoozum: <HMT>, let me guess...you're a hax0r? Just kidding.

offramp: California812 got totally Pwned Up the Bajew! LOL
May-29-05  mack: Chess players are an intellectual bunch.
Jun-05-05  patzer2: Black's 23...Qd4+! is a subtle deflection which appears to simplify to a won endgame:

<23...Qd4+! 24. Qxd4 exd4 25. Rc4 d3 26. Rd4 Bxd5! 27. Rxd5> (also losing for White is 27. exd5 d2! 28. Re6 Rc8 29. Kf2 Rc1 30. h4 d1=Q 31. Rxd1 Rxd1 32. hxg5 Rxd5 33. Re7 Rb5 34. Rd7 Rxb4 35. Rxd6 Kf7 36. Kf3 Rg4 37. g3 Rxg5 38. Kf4 h6 39. Ke5 Rxg3 40. Kxf5 ) <27... Bd2 28. Rb1 Be3+ 29. Kh1 fxe4 30. g3 Rf2 31. Re1 Re2 32. Rf1 d2 33. Rxd6 h5 34. Rd8+ Kh7 35. Rf5 Re1+ 0-1>
