May-13-12  Brown: The exchange sac comes more easily in these positions with no open files. Probably the biggest reason Petrosian played so many exchange sacs was because he liked locked positions with sticky pawn play, where rooks could no fulfill their potential.

And though the Q has no safe squares after 28.Qd2 Bc3!?, Black's best after either 28.Qd2 or Re2 is ...Bf3! Forget the Q and get the K!
