After 14.Nc3, if 14...Qc4 15.Nb5, threatening 16.Nc7+. If 14...Qc5 15.Nb5 Kd8 16.Rc1. If 14...Qd7 15.Nb5 and 16.Nc7.

Oct-28-05  Isolani: If black wanted to play b5 it should have been made on move 6 instead, 9 c4!! refutes 8...b5?.

According to the book Starting Out: The Sicilian by John Emms (p.140): 9...Qxc4 10 Bb3 Qb4 11 Bd2.
or 9...bxc4 10 Nc3 Qd6 11 Ne5 Bb7 12 Ne4.
