Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-25-05  cuendillar: Excellent final attack by white. Actually, 12.? could make a good Sunday puzzle, if analysis supports the game line.
Apr-25-05  Shams: I think white should take the perpetual immediately -- that is, on move 12. Black must be better after 12.Kd2 f5 13.exf6 Ndxf6, no?
May-19-06  thundershock2k: hey thats pretty good!
Dec-15-11  optimal play: Might these players actually be Vadim Maximov (Russia) born 1949 and Afrikan Andreev (Russia) born 1958?
May-18-17  zanzibar: <optimal play> well, Fine uses the game in his Middle Game book, which was first published in 1952.

I wonder what the original source of the game was?

Jan-01-21  Messiah: Very good game, I like it!
May-15-24  BarakSaltz: "L'Italia Scacchista", v4 n12 p196, 12.1914 has it as game no. 303 giving its source as the 4th edition of Manuale Hoepli's "Il Giuoco degli Scacchi". https://www.google.com/books/editio...
