Dec-11-24  TheaN: Wednesday on the easy side, though there are some variations: <33.Rxg7+ Rxg7 (else Rg8#) 34.Re8+ Kf7 (Qxe8 35.Qxg7#) 35.Qxg7+ Kxe8 36.Qf8#>. Nice combination though. Interesting how White sacs both rooks, one directly and one indirectly, for a ♕♗ mate.

Jimfromprovidence: Just a quick note to say that 33 Re8+ does not work, because after 33...Qxe8 34 Rxg7+ then 34...Kh8 wins for black.

Dec-11-24  King.Arthur.Brazil: This problem solution seems direct: 33. Rxg7+ (Kh8 34. Rg8# or Kf8 34. Rg8#) then Rxg7 (forced) 34. Re8+ (Qxe8 35. Qxg7# ) Kf7 35. Qxg7+ Kxe8 36. Qf8#.
