Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-02-07  Infohunter: Another member of the "Légal" family. White could also have finished with 10.Bxf7+ Qxf7 11.Rd8+.
Dec-11-08  WhiteRook48: Wow.... It would've taken a GM or near not to play 11. Bxd8
Dec-31-08  WhiteRook48: This game should be annotated
Nxe5!! Bxe2 (NN wanted that last move to be recorded NNxe5!!)
Jan-04-09  WhiteRook48: just joking. more NN odds
Rook odds from Maurian
Queen Odds from Potter and Cochrane
and still he loses
Feb-10-09  WhiteRook48: maybe a patzer would have seen the mate in 1.
Correction: I meant Rook odds from Morphy and Smith

Phony Benoni: The game was played before Morphy came on the scene, else White might have preferred 10.Bxf7+ Qxf7 11.Rd8# with an "Opera Box" mate.
Mar-13-17  Duracell: In fact this game should be annotated 9.♘xe5?? because the intermediate move 9...♗b4+! and then 10.c3 ♗xe2 refutes White's combination.
