perfidious: <....it took 300+ games ... AND keeping my rating OVER 2200 for that entire period ... to become an LM.>

The long and short of it is as follows:

I, too, am an original Life Master, and keeping one's rating at 2200 or above for 300 consecutive games <is not> a requirement--only that those 300 games are played while one <has> a 2200 rating.

May-21-14  john barleycorn: <AJ> became a <LIFE Master> in 1992 at the mature age of 34. here you can see where his rating is coming from

http://main.uschess.org/datapage/ga...

May-21-14  TheFocus: <AJ> What are you doing with the insults and the racist joke?

And about the wins against FMs. Your record against Masters is +18=30-40.

Keep bragging, Superstar!

May-22-14  TheFocus: You need to take a look in the mirror. I have been watching you throw out insults and violent posts in an ever increasing manner these last few weeks.

I thought you were trying to be nicer to people?

Frankly <AJ> , your hypocrite side is rising up again.

May-22-14  TheFocus: And those numbers are from the USCF page <job> linked, which are up to date.

LIFE Master AJ: Email me the racist joke.
(That I allegedly made.)

If you don't, then I know that you are lying (again) and you just made that stuff up ...

May-22-14  TheFocus: Notes on the back of the hand.
May-22-14  TheFocus: You had me on Ignore but read my posts anyway.

Typical hypocrite.

May-22-14  john barleycorn: <<AJ> ... Your record against Masters is +18=30-40...>

Not the stuff for a website on "How I almost became a Grand Master".

  LIFE Master AJ: <JB>

A.) You cannot read. (well)
<Third grade education?>

B.) Not all my games are here.

May-22-14  john barleycorn: <LITE Master AJ:

Probably not worthy enough.

LIFE Master AJ: IF you want to see an example of a defeat of another 2200, see my player page. (If not, jump into a deep, dark hole ... and pull the dirt in on top of you!!!)

BTW, CG is not posting any more of my games ...

May-22-14  john barleycorn: <LIFE Master AJ:

BTW, CG is not posting any more of my games ...>

Good. Fewer game pages to disable from kibitzing. Quite smart the admins here.

May-22-14  TheFocus: <AJ> We are talking about your record with the USCF. Hardly a good record is it? +18=30-40?

Stop bragging. You have nothing to be proud of with that record.

May-22-14  john barleycorn: chess.com provides further info on <AJ>'s your heroic battles against players with an average of 1425. An ULTRA-solid 1683 performance by <AJ>. About right and a bit flattering, imo.

Live-chess - Standard

Ratingrecord: 1688 (04.04.2014)
best win: 1764 (joebuen)

May-24-14  MarkFinan: <LIFE Master AJ: The title of LM (Life Master) is far superior to that of a mere FM.>

AJ you're pretty much untitled in the eyes of every chess fed in the world apart from your own. If being an "untitled life master!" was indeed superior to an FM then why use that title (which btw you have no right to use) when you're on chess dot com??    <Mr Bigz: LIFE Master you may be an FM but you are annoying fuk tard>

Well said Mr Bigz

May-24-14  TheFocus: Well , guess what, you can't get an IM title unless you have that FM title first.

That LM title ain't worth a bucket of warm spit outside of the U.S.

LIFE Master AJ: BTW, I defeated another NM this past weekend. (NM Ben Bailey.)

Of course, they are not posting any more of my games here - and I have stopped trying ... so that skews my statistics, making this site totally unreliable, as far as my player page is concerned.

May-26-14  Jim Bartle: <AJ> It's too bad your newer games aren't posted. But your winning pct. here is 77%, one of the highest on the site.

perfidious: Indeed, such are the benefits of cherry-picking one's game submissions. Were I so inclined, I could send on scores of one win after another as well, but my preference is for games with content, not merely to portray a huge win rate against weak opposition.
May-26-14  john barleycorn: only a chosen few are higher rated - like

Claude Frizzel Bloodgood

The reasons why CG doesn't post any more of <AJ>'s game is pretty obvious as they are non-relevant .

the +18 =22 -40 one?

May-26-14  TheFocus: <johnbarleycorn> According to the USCF website, <AJ>'s record against Masters, FMs and GM's is +18=30-40.

I would like to know the breakdown of that.

May-26-14  TheFocus: 18 wins out of 88 games against Masters.

Hmmmm.

I think we can see the potential for a Grandmaster title here.

But first... he has to get that ever elusive FM title.

May-26-14  TheFocus: But of course, we can understand GMs not wanting to move to the Gulf area and risk losing rating points.
