fredthebear: 21...Qg4?! 22.Bh3? 22.Qf3! and Black gets away with leading with the queen (for the time being) due to the weak squares and an uncastled White king.

The bishop sacrifice is sound, exposing the White king and gaining pawns back. It's Black's best stretch of a poor game: 23...Bxe3 24.fxBe3 Qxe3+ 25.Ne2 Qxd3 26.Nfc3 Nxg5

What was the purpose of 27...e4? It gives away the long diagonal to the Bb2. Black missed his chance to make use of the e-pawn by playing 30...Nf3+ to clear up matters.

Thereafter, the Black royalty gets knocked around and out. The king march into mate mildly reminds of the world-famous Lasker - Thomas crush but certainly not as grand as that: Ed. Lasker vs G A Thomas, 1912
