Jul-14-08  motorhead: What a giant, to walk the king out of trouble on the middle of the board; you got the impression that the game was over after the white king found a save haven. Shirov back in business again.
Jul-14-08  messachess: Well done Shirov!--a very impressive win and a lot of fun to play over. (Come on, someone throw the Marshall at me. I know what to do.)

Jul-15-08  ajile: Doesn't 19..Qxe4 equalize for Black? Black gets the pawn back and all his pieces are developed.

?

Jul-15-08  XMarxT3hSpot: I don't think so. White should have a better endgame prospect after 20. Qxe4 Rxe4

White could have an endgame with bishop pair or could try to exchange the b3 bishop with d5 knight for a better pawn structure ending

Jul-16-08  Craigokat: 19....f5!?
