Sometimes it's OK to be a pawn down!

Jun-07-09  ChessValley: At least, white could have put up more resistance with 31 Be3, followed by Ke2 and f3. The game might still be lost, but the way Sutovsky is playing, he resigns the game without a fight.
Jun-08-09  totololo: I just don't understand ! I read some addonated games by Sutovsky and I thought he has some bone! It seems that he is the modern computer kid ! Endings need a lot of work!
Jun-12-09  ozmikey: <chessvalley> Unfortunately I don't think 31. Be3 really helps - Black just plays the manoeuvre ...Bd8-b6, snips off the d4 pawn, and White is effectively a pawn down since he can't force through a passer on the king-side.
Jun-18-09  death and glory: no doubt if sutovsky play 31 be3- he wins the game. the black has nothing to do- and with less a pawn, the black should resign after 31.be3!
Jul-08-09  furrer: and you should read comments right above you :)
