Jul-03-09  Knight13: <Nf3em: mr <Knight13>, do not decipher any statement that way ...> Like you're gonna tell me what to do and not do.

<Nf3em: the mere fact that I said I son't know, is a sign of respect to GM Leko ... he is a GM and I am not ...> Yes, in a position that definitely does not call for any novelty at all. And yet you had to mention the possibility of having a novelty by Leko, which sounded like superiority. Seemed accusing me to at the time.

But I understand your point of view now. Sorry for overreacting.

Jul-03-09  Knight13: Anyway, I don't understand why White's not playing b4 ?? If Black plays ...a4 it seems like White's counterplay is getting low.
Jul-03-09  Nf3em: fine!
Jul-03-09  Knight13: See, if White played b4 he could've went c5 right now. But too lazy to flip back at the moment to check if White has the tempo....
Jul-03-09  Knight13: K this is draw now. It's done.
Jul-03-09  Strongest Force: Another "thriller" game. MJ is turning in his grave...oops, he's not in grave yet.
Jul-03-09  acirce: Another impotent game by Lékó. Two Whites, two nothings.
Jul-03-09  Knight13: <acirce> Is that your way of saying Leko is now screwed 'cause he has to go Black?

chessgames.com: Thanks to everybody for participating in today's live chess broadcast. Don't go away--we're going to switch to another board in just a minute.
Jul-03-09  acirce: Not necessarily but you have to make use of your white games. You can win with Black too, it's just harder.
Jul-03-09  Knight13: <chessgames.com: Thanks to everybody for participating in today's live chess broadcast. Don't go away--we're going to switch to another board in just a minute.> You guys definitely know how to keep the kibtizers happy.
Jul-03-09  jcnorcro: <Nf3em,Knight13> There you are, still acting like.............. Act KNIGHTLY (you both claim to be)-you are not on the field of challenge, you are at the (round) table. Stop acting like .............Shake hands and BTY, doe anyone want a DRAW?!!!
Jul-03-09  Marmot PFL: Leko is varying from 1 e4 to English/Catalan lines but needs a little more experience yet to get an advantage (if that can be done at this level in these openings).
Jul-03-09  obientag: technical draw.
Jul-03-09  wanabe2000: <Marmot PFL> As the great Ernie Banks used to say "Let's play two".
Jul-03-09  Knight13: <jcnorcro> I already did. I admited that it was my fault (okay cut out the word "probably" if you want to; it just means it's a lot more likely my fault than his), and I apologized for overreacting.

See post above.

Jul-03-09  Marmot PFL: Kramnik also doesnt seem to have much as white vs the QID.
Jul-03-09  whiteshark: Like yesterday, a nice game, or not?
<K13> couldn't resist. :D
Jul-03-09  Nf3em: I am sorry too <K13>, <jcnorcro>, et al if I reacted that way ... I just don't want to be accused of something I didn't do or even think of ... let us enjoy chess ... salute to GMs Leko & Carlsen ... another addition to the theory of English Opening that started with my favorite 1st move Nf3!!!
Jul-03-09  Knight13: <whiteshark> Nice game, like yesterday!
Jul-03-09  xiko9: It is a lil bit weird to see a draw when there is a mate threat! Who offerred the draw? It would be nice to know...
Jul-03-09  minasina: <xiko9: It is a lil bit weird to see a draw when there is a mate threat!>

A mate threat? Back rank mate? C'mon, they are pros!

Jul-03-09  xiko9: :P ok...but black will lose a turn to avoid it...Rb8 is lil disgusting...so g6,f6 or h6 should be playable...of course it is drawn but it is still weird...
Jul-03-09  shintaro go: Leko is throwing all his chances of winning Dortmund.
