Kibitzer's Corner
May-04-12  SleepyEye: Well done Emmanuel!
Nov-30-14  Knight13: 17. Qxd8+ was mandatory, but White did not play it. Being greedy didn't help either.
Mar-30-25  Prabhat Mukherjea: White had many chances even after taking 17. Qxh7?

First of all there's the incredible 18.h4 with the idea of answering 0-0-0 with Bg5 where White won't lose the queen.

Secondly, Schiffers obvious looking Qg5 tactic is actually giving White chances as the simple 20.g3 isn't as easy to refute as it looks. 20...Qxg3+ 21. Kh1 and now the problem is 21...Qxe2 is met by 22. Nd6+ Ke7 23. Nxf7!! and now it's utter mayhem and White might even be winning.

Instead the winning move is the incredible 20...Nf3+ 21. Kh1 Rh6 22. Qg8+ Ke7 23. Qg3 Rxh2+ 24. Qxh2 Rh8! when Black is winning. It's easy to see even modern GMs overlooking all these insane engine tactics.
