Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-01-10  visayanbraindoctor: A fine defensive effort by Maroczy.

In this position, in a typical French set-up with its accompanying bad Bishop for Black and with Nagy massing his pieces in front of his King, Maroczy non-chalantly plays 22..a3

Did Nagy misplay his attack somewhere? Maroczy not only wriggles out of it, but eventually wins the game.

Jul-14-12  paladin at large: <visayanbraindoctor> The game you show, and this one here, show Maróczy to be a cool defender. Interesting here how Nagy offers to sacrifice the exchange of both rooks.
