Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-10-10  zanshin: Wow - <14.Nxd5??>
Jan-10-10  Cercatore: Play something like 21. f3 ??? :|
Mar-04-10  Zan: If 21. f3, then 21. ... Rae8 followed by:
22. Bf1 Re1 23. Qxe1 Qxf3 Mate in 2 (or in 1, white gains one move with Qe4) or if White doesn't move the bishop from f2, there would be an exchange leaving White with only a single rook vs. a rook and bishop.

21. Qf1 would possibly be a better defense but ultimately still futile. White's underdeveloped and doubled pawns really hamper any defense as the queen can't move to d3

I maybe would have tried 19. d4 instead of Bf1, but I think white was done as soon as he played Nxd5, as zanshin pointed out.

(Sorry about the similar name by the way - guess I should have searched more before picking a screen name)

Don't worry about it <Zan> - it would not have been that easy to do ;-)
