Jul-21-12  Poisonpawns: GM Caruana at 7 years old
Mar-02-13  TheTamale: C. Bean lose. He had never Bean so humiliated in his life!
Mar-02-13  Eduardo Bermudez: In a couple years, Caruana would be the third World Chess Champion born in Amèrica !!
Mar-02-13  Shams: <Poisonpawns> If you're up for telling the story of this game I'm sure many of us would be keen to read it.
Mar-14-13  Poisonpawns: I remember it like it was yesterday. His dad gave him orange juice and some snacks; a nice man. Fabiano was a good kid, very focused. I noticed that he wasn`t "fidgity" like other kids;he didn`t squirm around in the chair or look at the ceiling and things of that nature. He concentrated like an adult. That is one of the great things about the New York Chess clubs; you see alot of current and future great players. Hess,Lenderman,Caruana, and Nakamura are just a few I have seen as young kids.

GrahamClayton: If Bean moved the g-pawn earlier with 9...g5, Caruana would gain an advantage after 10. ♗g3 f4 11. ♘xe4 dxe4 12. ♗xe4 fxg3 13. ♕h5 . Blacks premature attack (lack of development and opened king) is colly refuted by Caruana.
May-30-14  I Like Fish: baked beans are off...
Sep-02-14  MarkFinan: Unbelievable for a 7 year old! And if you really have to play ..g5? then you have to play it on move 10 not 12 when the Knight is on e4 blocking the bishop. Great game from a 7yr old, I didn't realise he played in NYC as a kid, I thought he was raised in Italy. Still prefer Carlsen but I'm coming around to Caruana. ✌

Richard Taylor: He beat 'Mr. Bean'!! The famous alter ego of Rowan Atkinson. Not fair playing a comedian...Poor Mr. Bean.
Jun-17-15  ToTheDeath: Very mature play from a 7 year old. The kid's a natural!
May-19-16  whiteshark: Oh my god! Caruana killed Sean Bean. You bastard!
May-19-16  ndg2: I understand Mr. Bean is user poisonpawns
