Nice win Nigel. Who said the French was solid? This was one complicated game.

The complications after 14...h5 instead of your 14...Qd6 are mindboggling. Either way, it was a complicated game anyway. It does seem that if white plays 15 Nxe6! there was a possibilty that he could have had some initiative. But with any pawn sacrifice by white in the opening, it's inevitable that you will have to weather the storm for a while. Even when you got your king castled, Watu still went for it with 17 b4? but you defended well and your extra material was always going to cause problems.

Nice shot at the end! Still tactically sharp I see :-)
