  Domdaniel: 6...Bd6 seems to be weaker than the usual 6...Be7. It was played against me a couple of times, and I won both. Black loses a tempo or two ... there are lines where ...Bd6 is good, but this isn't one of them.

This A08 Reti/King's English/Catalan/Gruenfeld/Reversed Benoni business is blurry, but it sure as hell has nothing to do with the Sicilian. Here's an unusual miniature: W Dobrzynski vs J Misiuda, 1976
