perfidious: One would think that, being that Black obtains a type of position similar to a well-known Classical Caro-Kann line, where moreover Black gets in ....c7-c5 in one go, that she should have no problems, but Krush seldom plays the Caro, and never that subvariation with 4....Nd7, so far as I know.
Sep-15-11  tonsillolith: Yeah, it's like the Caro-Kann except without having to worry about your light-squared bishop getting too much fresh air.
Sep-16-11  beenthere240: Isn't it a little disrespectful of Naka to throw all this garbage at the ladies?
Sep-16-11  Resignation Trap: <beenthere240> If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull@#$%!
Sep-16-11  Shams: I used to transpose into this line out of the Scandinavian. The Van Geet is not so bad, I don't think.
Sep-17-11  der623: To beenthere240: You may not know this, but Naka once played 2.Qh5 in a Sicilian against Andrei Volokitin. That time, Naka got spanked. You can find it under one of Volokitin's Notable Games. I suspect that Naka wanted to rattle Krush by getting her out of her prepared lines. If that was Naka's intention, he appears to have succeeded.
