Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-30-11  Ulhumbrus: After 9 dxc6 the c6 pawn will fall, although it is not obvious why.

13...Bb7! is the move which regains the pawn and keeps the bishop pair, with advantage. The c6 pawn is pinned to the Queen on a4 and cannot take the bishop on b7.

Oct-30-11  jakaiden: Massoni losing the d3 pawn was what finished him.
Oct-30-11  Gilmoy: <18..Ra3> with threats of e4, Bb5, and Qa8-Re8 is vastly irritating -- hence <15..a5> correctly unravels White's split Rs and weird Qe2. <19.Qc1 Rxd3> is insouciant, and White can't even poke it.

<21..Bd5> keeps the vise on weak a2. <32..Ke6> might be to snuff the remote glimmer of counterplay via Rb4-Rb8-Rh8 or h6-Rb4-Rb7.

piltdown man: He makes it look so easy. Just like the 2300 player would be with me, the world's greatest patzer.
Apr-04-23  Messiah: 13...Bb7 is a funny move that really surprised me when replayed this game - I did not expect it at all, and there was a second or two when I was completely dumbfounded, why this move does work.

Victory!
