Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-09-12  haydn20: What an insipid game.
Jun-10-12  arnaud1959: I disagree. After 15.Kxg2 white is planning to play moves like e4 or b4. 15.-a5 creates à double edged position.Unfortunately white chooses 20.e3 which results in a drawish position.
Jun-11-12  rjsolcruz: The opening moves of this game were also played in Jose Castro vs Rhal Sol Cruz in Philippine National Open [2nd Elimination Leg] on May 14, 2012 until the 6th move - 6. O-O. Aronian replied with 6... dxc4 while the 14 year old Sol Cruz continued with 6... b6.

Jun-11-12  Jacob Arnold: <haydn20> Catalan's DO have a reputation for being, in your words, "insipid". I think Aronian would have been better off with a different opening, but then again, I'm not him!
