Check It Out: Bogoljubov played a poor endgame. Hard to imagine he lost as white from this position. Black has better development but worse pawn structure.

Seems like this would be called a Queen's Indian, but b6 is played earlier than usual. This game must be the reason it's call a Saemisch Indian, and not because white played f3: Saemisch vs Gruenfeld, 1925

Dec-14-14  TheFocus: Match Game 1 played in Triberg, Germany on June 29, 1921.

Alekhine drew the match +1=2-1.
