May-03-14  MountainMatt: Poor Guido, nearly held on against the mighty Naka..but alas, no cigar.
May-03-14  JohnBoy: Naka kept moving until Guido gave him access. Not a particularly notable win.

perfidious: <JohnBoy> On the other hand, it was always Black who had something to play for, with White's impotent bishop and all.

Hard to say whether White should have lost with correct defence, but once Black's king runs round to the queenside, even the disappearance of the bad bishop looks insufficient to draw in the face of Black's more active king and the pawn weaknesses.

May-04-14  Edmontonchessclub: Incredible. Great fight.
May-04-14  JohnBoy: You are of course correct <perf>. Black had nothing to lose and maybe it was just a matter of finding the right way in. I do like the king swing from f4 to a5. But I can't help thinking that white had ways to keep black at bay.
