Penguincw: Longest game of the tournament.

Anyway, white came close to forming a fortress, but if the knight can't get to e5, white can't hold.

In the final position, white had 5 seconds, while black has 37 seconds.

The bishop is clearly hit, but has no safe squares. If b2 or c3, then Qb8+ or Qc5+ forks the king and bishop. And obviously, if Bg7, then mate on the back rank is to follow.

Dionysius1: Wow. At the speed they were playing I like that Svidler had manoeuvered to a position where Gelfand can't promote to a ♕ at move 79 because of mate at g6.
