alexmagnus: Tablebase shows that for two moves the position was, surprisingly, drawn.

65.Qa4+ lets out the win. The only winning move was 65. Qa7!. Actually, the correct secuence involves three only moves in a row: 65. Qa7! Ne3 66. Qh7+ Nf5 67. Qh1! e5 and here White finally has a choice between seven winning moves (three of which win the quickest way).

Of course, the next question is, if it was draw, what did Black do wrong? Well, tablebase say 67...Ke3! would have held draw.

Don't ask me why - apparently even Chessbomb's Stockfish is confused, as it neither shows both mistakes not finds that draw, eveluating the position on moves 64-68 steadily around +5.

Dec-24-15  rookpawn101: good work <alexmagnus>. Quite an informative post.
