Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-23-16  dumbgai: This is some epic fail endgame technique by black.
Jan-23-16  Mr. V: When in the endgame could Black have improved? Nino fought hard here.
Jan-23-16  Nerwal: 46... ♔c4 is a clear win. With the White King cut along the f file, ♖ + a♙ vs ♖ would still be a win for Black.

But still the endgame was getting tricky. Black's play was especially shaky between move 18 and 33. There were much simpler solutions, like 24... ♖xc3 - the h6 pawn was completely irrelevant, once Black is fully mobilized White won't get anything out of g4-h4-h5 or h4-h5, there is just no time. 25... ♗b7 also should be good, but one can guess Black was scared by 26. f6+!?.

Jan-23-16  dumbgai: 24...Rxc3 and black simply has 3v1 on the queenside, and can untangle the rook and bishop
Jan-23-16  dumbgai: Alternatively, 24...Bb7 and black can still grab the c-pawn later.

OhioChessFan: Agreed about 46...Kc4. Black chose to use a King move to attack a mobile Rook, which shrugged and moved away. Instead, Black could have attacked/blockaded an immovable Pawn. Paging Dr. Nimzo....
