Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-21-17  Delboy: A remarkable double piece sacrifice on moves 16 and 17
Jul-21-17  hemy: <Delboy> Indeed brilliant game of A.Z.Macht with double piece sacrifice.

It was published in "Wiener Schach-Zeitung" Nr.1, 1932, pp.9-11 with comments of Sandor Takacs

It was also published in many other periodicals and books. The position before 16th move of White with short comments of Gideon Stahlberg was placed on page 13 of the "Tidskrift for Schack" Jan-Feb 1932.

In May 2014 I received from Henryk Konaszczuk, Polish chess historian, article from "Kuryer Literacko-Naukowy", (July 4, 1932, p.27) which included this game.

In the last email I received from dear friend Henryk on January 21, 2015 he wrote: "At  the moment I have very serious health problems, but I believe that everything will end  OK."

Sadly on March 24, 2015 Henryk had passed away, having died of lung cancer just a few days after his 60th birthday.
