Apr-02-17  Papagambit: 15. ...Qe4
Apr-02-17  cro777: 15.b5 This move now has less strength.

HeMateMe: So is playing for a win. Swapping Queens followed by B-b2 gives white equality.

OhioChessFan: Shows what I know. Qc8 sure surprised me.
Apr-02-17  BOSTER: Now white is better, he has more space, and better coordination between pieces.
Apr-02-17  ChessHigherCat: ...Nc5 protcts a6 ad white was threatning Nxe6 fxe6 Bxe6+, winning the N on d7
Apr-02-17  theodor: Mr So, is your position good?: ''-So So''
Apr-02-17  cro777: White has lost his advantage. Black's position is now preferable.

An Englishman: Good Afternoon: Yesterday, d6 proved a strength for So; today, a weakness. Wonder what White can do with it.
Apr-02-17  ChessHigherCat: 18....Qc6. You mean, Oh Wesley baby, your position is so, SO!!!
Apr-02-17  cro777: Yasser also likes Wesley's position.

An Englishman: Good Evening: As long as Black owns c3, he will own d5 for the Knight. If he ties down White to the defense of the Queen side pawns, So will have all of the winning chances. Perhaps Zherebukh should transfer a Rook or two to the King side via the third rank and attack the Black King.

Domdaniel: <An Englishman> One can't just decide to attack the enemy King unless preparations are in place. Which, here, they aren't. Earlier today I heard an IM patiently explain this point to a young player who kept wanting to go for the King.
Apr-02-17  cro777: Black has clear target: White's weak pawns on the queenside.

Apr-02-17  nok: maybe Rb4

An Englishman: Good Morning: You are correct, <Domdaniel>, and Black's King side has no weaknesses at this time, but letting So squeeze the position can make one long for the comforting coils of an Anaconda. Perhaps 24.Rb4 intending either Rc4 or Rh4 (intending g2-g4-g5) deserves consideration.
Apr-02-17  nok: Deep move Qe1. So deep I can't see the bottom.
Apr-02-17  BOSTER: I <agree that white lost his advantage>,but b6 pawn is weak, and white can transfer his rook on the
king side.

Domdaniel: <nok> - <Deep move Qe1. So deep I can't see the bottom.> A Queen is a lady, and ladies don't *have* bottoms. Or so I've heard. There may be exceptions.

Domdaniel: <An Englishman> Well, you were quite right about Rb4 ... so perhaps Black's kingside does have some vulnerability. I don't see anything concrete, but activity must be correct for white.
Apr-02-17  theodor: 28. Rh4! I do like king-side attack!
Apr-02-17  theodor: I propose a new exclamation: Zherebukh!

An Englishman: Good Evening: So has only 6 minutes left, so a perpetual like 29...Nf6; 30.Rhb4,Nd5; 31.Rh4,Nf6 might tempt both players.

An Englishman: Good Morning: Except that So is taking risks again! Looking at 31.Qe3.
Apr-02-17  nok: this is pretty ballsy
