  al wazir: 35. Rc2 Rh1+ 36. Ke2 Qxg2+ 37. Kd3 Rxd1+ 38. Kc3. Now what?
May-12-24  mel gibson: I wasn't sure.

Stockfish 16.1 says:

33. .. Rxb7

(33. .. Rxb7 (1. ... Rxb7 2.Qd8+ Kf7 3.Kg1 Rh2 4.Rd2 Bh3 5.Qg5 Qxg5 6.Kxh2 Bf5 7.Bxf5 Qxf5 8.a5 e4 9.a6 Ra7 10.Rf1 e3 11.Ra2 g5 12.Kh1 Qd3 13.Re1 Qxb3 14.Rea1 Kg6 ) +7.75/41 325)

score for White +7.75 depth 41.

May-12-24  alshatranji: I had another sequence with a similar idea. 33...Rh1+ 34. Ke2 Qxg2+ 35. Kd3 Rxb7 36. Qxb7 Rh2. According to Stockfish, it seems to work too.
May-13-24  BxChess: <alshatranji> I found the same line. Great minds think alike whereas fools seldom differ.

Maybe I'm suffering from a blind spot, but I don't see the mate after 40. Ka2 Ra1+ 41. Kb2, and now either 41...Qb1+ 42. Kc3 or 41...Qd4+ 42. Rc3.

May-14-24  BxChess: <FM David H. Levin:> I'm the one with the blind spot. I missed the escapes after 41. Kb2.
May-14-24  Lloyd Gross: 34. Qd8+ seems to give Black a more stubborn resistance.

39.Kb2 Qd4+ 40.Rc3 (40.Ka3 Ra1+ 41.Ra2 Qc3) Rd2+ 41.Bc2 Bf5.

  Teyss: Hi Sastre,
Well spotted. In your 40.Ka3 line, there is better: 40...Qa1+ (instead of Ra1+) 41.Ra2 (forced) Qc1+ 42.Rb2 (forced) Rd2 and mate is unavoidable.
