Apr-03-19  erixn: How can this be 1-0 ? Black is a piece + 2P up, 36.Bxg2 Kxd7 simplifies to a winning position, and 36. K any is mate in 2.

The official sites records it as 1-0 and the players progressed to round two with the recorded score. So no mistake there.

The score of the game could be wrong but I cannot see a likely candidate where the recorded moves went astray.

The most likely reason is Black lost on time just as he played his last move.

Or maybe Danielsson was doing the round one 'Swiss Gambit' (resigning the first game to get easier games in the later rounds.)

However he lost his round two game as well S Danielsson vs H Sigurvaldason, 2018 The Double Swiss Gambit!
