  fredthebear: This is another Closed Sicilian mislabeled as a KIA. There are far too many KIAs assigned in the database to other openings like the English/Reti and Vienna.

A fellow could drive himself crazy in this minor piece endgame trying to skewer or corral the White knight on the edge of the board with the bishop pair. The knight is not having much fun either, wishing for a fair piece exchange to force a draw by insufficient mating material.

Try to find an improvement. Put the squeeze on and watch the position slip away w/best play. Remember, Black must avoid a trade. It would make for a good tease at the local chess club.
