Mar-13-20  moodini: This one certainly cracked my nut. Does anybody know what on earth was going on at any point?
Mar-14-20  jith1207: I think Gelfand gave up too many pawns to capture enemy Queen and create an imbalance, but he also gave up a pawn center and didn't receive enough compensation back. The result is not having enough resources to make a fight with only his Queen and a Rook, having both relegated to defensive approach.
Mar-18-20  pmukerji: I think Gelfand could have picked up a piece by 23. ..Nxg2, no?
Mar-18-20  pmukerji: Also looks like he can fork by 23. .. Nc4 I must be missing something.

HeMateMe: why doesn't black play 22...NxB?
Mar-21-20  utssb: 22...Ng2 23.Qa6 ba6 24.Rd3
or 23...Ng2 24.Qd3
I think that's the point - the Black knight will always be trapped at the end. But now I'm seeing 23...Ng2 24.Qd3 Qa3+ 25.Kc2 Ne1+ 26.Re1 Qa2+ winning back the Knight.
