Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-26-20  fisayo123: Positional masterclass and technique by Firouzja against a tremendous defender. He can generate wins from any position which is a trait of the all time greats.

Firouzja is also a very well rounded with white and what I like about him is he has his own ideas and is not a follower. This shows huge amount of work he has put into the game. He seems to have a very high chess understanding relative to his age.

With black his positional skills still need some refining still.

Dec-25-20  Justin796: Firouzja has that element of danger that Fischer had.

fredthebear: Alireza Firouzja is 17 years old, ranked 18th in the world w/a FIDE rating std 2749, rapid 2703, blitz 2770. Firouzja became an IM in 2016, a GM in April, 2018. He'll likely top Bobby Fischer's bogus rating in his late teens if COVID-19 would go away. Tom, Dick and Harry know that Fischer was THE best. The latest is not the greatest as the media would have us believe, but this young man has great potential.
